News : Nelly Furtado Remix

Ok, I’ll have to admit it. I’m a stupid idiot.
Lots of people have been emailing me saying that they’re having problems downloading my remix of Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater”.
“Just click on ‘productions’ at the top of the website and you’ll find it”, I said.
“But it’s not there!”, said everyone else.
“But it IS there!”, I protested.
Finally I’ve tracked down the problem and it was me being foolish! Wordpress has a feature which allows you to post private blog posts so that only users with admin rights are allowed to see them. For some reason I had set the post to be private so it meant that only I could see it and everyone else couldn’t! Doh! So I’ve changed it now and if you click on productions you can now find the remix straight away. I’m glad that one’s sorted.
What I’d really like to know though is how I managed to clock up over 20,000 downloads when I wasn’t directly linking to the tune on the site!? The power of the internet and the many MP3 spiders I think. I’d better get back in the studio and do another remix or tune too. I have the itch to create some funky house music…

It’s coming mate! I’ve got a few ideas for an original tune and the Funkfinders will be back with a new remix in the very near future.

Can’t wait…but you’ve shot yourself in the foot by releasing two top quality tunes with your first two attempts…we’re going to expect that everytime now! When’s the album coming out?! ;0)

Cheers mate! Yeah, I’ve got a bit of the fear as the Nelly remix went down so well. I’ll just have to bite the bullet and get it sorted! Album is out in 2009 at the rate I work.
BTW: Loving your latest piano house mix! Great tunes and great mixing.
