News : The six mini mixes of Christmas

On the first day of Christmas DJ Cruze he gave to me…
Well I haven’t quite managed to do mixes for the 12 days of Christmas, but I have managed to get into my studio and record six mixes for you to download over the Christmas period. I’ve done them just to say a little “thank you” to you all for the support that you’ve given me over the past year and for all of the positive feedback I’ve received for my podcasts and productions. It means a lot to me to have fans across the globe so wherever you are in the world make sure that you enjoy the mixes and play them loud!
Each one is about 35 to 40 minutes long and each one of them has a different theme. The mixes you’ll get are:
- A warm up mix - some nice pre-club tunes to listen to before a night out on the town.
- An electro mix - dirty house music!
- 80s bassline mix - think Seamus Haji’s mix of “Boogie Tonight” and you’ll know that the bassline sound of 2006 has been influenced by the 80s.
- Piano mix - some of the best piano tunes that I’ve heard recently. Did I tell you that I love pianos?
- Dark and dubby - some of the darker tunes that I’ve been sent over the past few months. Don’t be scared!
- Phat and funky mix - ok, so I couldn’t think of a title for the last mix so it just contains plenty of funky house tunes.
The 12 days of Christmas span from December 25th until January 6th (I believe) so I’ll publish my mixes at various intervals during that time. Keep checking back at the website or subscribe to the RSS feed to be notified when the mixes go live. It should be every 2 days but it depends on how much red wine I drink!
Merry Christmas!
