A big thank you to everyone who turned up at the Loft Club on Saturday night. It was great to see some people I hadn’t seen for a while and also lots of the DJ Cruze party people. It’s a shame that the weather was so nice so people were probably staying at home to drink beer and have a BBQ. Only 300 people for a night when M.A.N.D.Y. and I were playing seems crazy and I was a bit disappointed with the turnout but these things happen sometimes, especially when the weather is good.

There were quite a few big tunes that seemed to go down well and if you like your dirty and funky house music then you should check these out:

• DJ DLG – Your Eyes – Awesome funky house tune from hot Canadian producer DJ DLG. Check out his remixes of the new Michael Gray tune “Somewhere Beyond” too.
• Larry Tee – Licky (Herve Goes Low Remix) - This is a cheeky little tune featuring vocals from Princess Superstar. It transforms from a cut up breakbeat tune into an old speed garage style dirty bassline with some old rave stabs thrown in for good measure. Awesome tune!
• Rainer Weichold vs Dandi & Ugo – Infinite Template (Kissy Sellout Remix) - Kissy is my new favourite remixer. He’s the king of the dirty bassline and cheeky cut-up vocal. This tune rocked the floors at the Loft Club. I’m loving his bootleg remix of Mark Ronson’s “Stop Me” on his myspace page so check it out.
• Mighty Dub Katz – Magic Carpet Ride 07 (Young Punx Remix) - Those cheeky Young Punx have done a great remix of Norman Cook’s tune turning it into a disco monster.

Thanks especially to Alex and Annette who looked after me on Saturday and Thorsten, Marta and their children who entertained me on Sunday. It was great to see you guys as always.

After 18 months of podcasting and 30 episodes of house and electro goodness I’ve finally decided to “burn” (or move as it it sometimes known) my podcast feed. This shouldn’t affect you guys in any way but it should help me to (a) lower my bandwidth and (b) keep better stats on how many people are downloading the show. I just wanted to let you all know in case there were any problems. I don’t think there should be but I’ve said that before I know that there may be some teething problems.

So I’ve moved over to using the mighty FeedBurner and their fantastic RSS services. I’ve moved it over in the past 10 minutes and I can already see 25 hits from various copies of iTunes and various web browsers around the world. It should keep me up to date with how many people are downloading the shows and hopefully more. I’m not sure why Apple don’t provide this service for their podcasters as it would be extremely helpful. Maybe one day.

So if you have any problems with the podcast then please let me know via the usual method.
