I have to say that the crowd were rocking and so were Alex Harmony and Luke45. A great time was had by all but I wish I hadn’t had so much Jaegermeister. Flying back to England when you feel very, very sick isn’t much fun at all. Also, I’m sorry that the party ended early at 3 am. Apparently they were worried about the noise for the flats around the club. Hopefully they can sort that out for next time. Big love to all of the people I had seen for about 8 or 9 years too. It was like coming back to Vibration after a long holiday!

Hope you all enjoyed the party too.

I’m just about to set off to the airport with my headphones, a box of classic house tunes and a party vibe in my soul. See you all at Schmidt’s later on for a rocking “Vibration Revival” party. Mine’s a beer with a Jaegermeister chaser! See you on the dancefloor!

Wow! This was an unexpected story on the BBC news website. The drum and bass DJ, Grooverider, has been arrested and jailed for four years in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for possession of just over two grammes of canabis. Although I don’t condone people smuggling drugs abroad, and especially not to a country in which they have stiffer penalties, it does seem pretty harsh for roughly an eighth of an ounce of weed.

Hopefully the charges will be lessened on appeal or his career might well take a nose-dive. It would be a shame to see one of the UK’s embassadors of drum and bass being taken out of it for four years.

So you’d better make sure you check your pockets before you get to the airport!

I’ve finally taken the plunge and set up a Twitter account. If you don’t know what Twitter is then Wikipedia describes it as:

…a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send “updates” (or “tweets”; text-based posts, up to 140 characters long) to the Twitter website, via short message service, instant messaging, or a third-party application such as Twitterrific.

It’s a short burst messaging system which is similar to your Facebook status or something like that. It took me a while to see its merit but I think it’ll be good for keeping up with my friends and what they’re up to and also for telling you guys what I’m up to. Finally I received some information about the party I’m DJing at on 23rd February 2008. It’s going to be an old school party with some of the funkiest house tracks from the 1990s. For those of you who aren’t from Germany, Vibration was a club in Germany where I DJed from 1994 until the late 90s. It was an awesome venue and we had some of the greatest parties there.
