Interesting comment! I know that Web Sheriff is automated but I’ve always said that this isn’t an MP3 blog and I won’t post MP3s here (other than my mixes and podcasts!)

Dear Wed Sheriff, most forums I have seen discussing the pending release are not favourable. I have to agree its very disapointing. The bootleg from a couple of years back had raw potential. The promo is bland, its taken away all the energy and feeling from the original. I think its a great shame and I fear this will flop. Only Adam K has produced anything worthwhile, the Chicane has missed by a mile.

@Utopia: Haha! Yes! I posted a reply just so in case anyone from Web Sheriff has read the blog and thinks it’s an MP3 blog (which it isn’t!)

Hi, man, how you’ve been? Hope everything’s alright
I think you already know this tune, but anyway,
“Greg Stainer – Long Verb” (man, this one rocks!!! smth like Pryda – Pjanoo, even better in its own ways )
and, uh, did you ever thought about coming to Shanghai?… man, this town needs some quality funky house music… lol

You might like to know that Web Sheriff isn’t entirely automated. Recently, I wrote about Chicane’s new track on my own blog. I also made a note about how Web Sheriff were stopping illegal copies from being spread. Within hours, I had a reply from Web Sheriff themselves, telling me how their firm completely agreed with my analysis on how to deal with file-sharing!

@Architect: Thanks man. I haven’t heard it but will check it out. Would love to come to Shanghai. I DJ’ed in Hong Kong a while ago and the people were great so I’ll have to try and get out there.
@Poison Monkey: I think it’s probably mostly automated (via something like Google blog searches) and then their staff will comment on particular blogs if they feel it’s necessary.
