News : US Election Day

I’m sure all of my American listeners and readers know full well it’s election day in the US and in our current climate of a global credit crunch I’m sure it’s going to be an interesting day for the whole world. Being from the UK I obviously can’t vote but I’m sure you can tell from the picture above who I would vote for if I could.
Anyway, what’s this got to do with music? Well, one of my favourite hip-hop scratch DJs, Z-Trip, did a fundraising party for Obama and has released his mix to the public in order to raise awareness that people should vote. Yeah a great mix from DJ Z-Trip.
I love the way he’s taken phrases from tracks and samples to tell a story with the mix.
